Empowering and Engaging parents with information and Advocacy
Many of the deepest concerns for parents and residents about the public school systems stem from the debate over the role of the school versus that of the parents and families. As the Social and Emotional Learning programs have rapidly expanded concerns over the introduction of woke ideologies, the role the schools have taken on regarding social and behavioral development, and the decline of academic proficiency have created a need for the current relationship between the FCPS and the community to evolve. Transaction in Education will provide a deeper level of information to parents on things like CRT, gender identity language, racism, bullying, and will act as an advocate for parents that struggle to get information. This includes a confidential email program for the submission of concerns.
