Transparency in Education, with Dr. Kate Goonan and Tom Neumark, provided some insight on WFMD this past weekend on gender identity and how it is handled in Frederick County Schools.
 
It should be no surprise to FC residents that a child can choose a gender and pronoun different than their biological sex or identify as transgender at school in FC, but do they know that this is not just a casual choice but a symptom of a psychological condition known as gender dysphoria and that school policy can keep that information from parents.
